Through Creatio Institute, Northwest University is the only Evangelical Christian University on the west coast and the only four-year accredited school in the Pacific Northwest to offer such in-depth training in recording arts, music industry business, and church media degree programs. In addition to degree programs, Creatio Institute will soon offer training in seminar and certificate programs focused on developing and sharpening the skills of practitioners. From one-day seminars to week-long boot camps and even the potential of online classes, Creatio Institute is positioned to serve both professionals and volunteers throughout the music industry and the church world.
Creatio Studios exists to serve the university and its students, commercial and nonprofit organizations, church recording projects and recording artists’ projects. Creatio Studios stands as a peer among the finest Seattle area studios in terms of personnel, equipment and facility. Creatio Studios is an industry-best studio serving as both an instructional and professional production environment. The pairing of ‘instructional’ and ‘professional’ is unique, and Northwest’s student body will deeply benefit. In this sense, Creatio Studios and Northwest’s music/recording degrees will maximize each other. As students will receive instruction in the context of a working professional studio, each will emerge from their program with a portfolio of professional-grade projects and credits to their name – increasing their ability to seek jobs in the entertainment industry.
